What Drives Us
No Strays Foundation
Indian streets are cluttered with dogs, no place left where they can’t be found, under the buses, inside a waste cardboard box, beneath a standing car hiding from the sun or may it be inside the garbage bins searching for food, surviving under the most miserable conditions of the road and no one is ready to take responsibility for that. Due to fear and ignorance, many people and officials as well have regarded street dogs as a nuisance and pursued eradication through brutal methods such as poisoning and beating them ruthlessly.

The Purpose
As a rising country, India is struggling with an ever-increasing human-animal conflict, a subject that sets dog lovers against those who want the canines to be gone by any means possible. We at “No Strays” are here with an initiative to end this all and become the solution for all conflict, abuse, ill-treatment happening on the ground by providing the streeties with a place of their own where they will be living peacefully with all their basic needs being fulfilled like nutritious meals, clean water to drink, proper shelter, medical aid to the injured ones and lots of love from the people who care for them.
